I purchase the Acura TLX with the technology Package 2.4L at the end of September 2016 and so far I enjoy driving this car. It is so smooth and responsive to the road. I was aware that Acura 2015 version has some issues with the transmission prior to purchase; however, i was told that in the 2016 model those issues where addressed. So far I'm in love with my car and hope that it maintains the Honda/Acura badge of reliability, value, and quality. I test drove other luxury brand of cars and yes they all felt great, especially the BMW3 series; but, the Acura had more features for the price.…
Cool car! Most features included in the base model

Acura TLX 2015 is a major update and completely replaced TSX and TL.
Ive owned it since January 2016.
I chose this car because its base model included all desirable features like sun roof, back up camera, driver and passenger side power seats, TPMS and maintenance indicators.
The 2.4 liter engine generates enough power to drive around on the highway (35 mpg). The ride in the city is extremely comfortable (25 mpg).
One thing all my passengers point out is that the cabin is very quiet. The sound system delivers a crisp sound but may lack some bass.
Only cons I can think of are that the dual screens are not really needed unless you have a navigation system.
Also, the bluetooth takes about 5 seconds to connect to my iPhone. So if I am on a call and get into the car, there will be 5 seconds of downtime.
Overall, its the best luxury car for the price in my opinion.…
Got sick of road noise

A quieter ride was at the top of my list when shopping for a new car last year. And while my 2018 Acura TLX’s is quiet, I fell in love with its updated styling, tech and ability to get out of its own way even with its smaller size engine. Downsides have included its black vegan leather which leaves me feeling sweaty on warmer days and its relatively lower riding position which makes it hard to see beyond all the trucks and SUVs on the road.…
